CURRENTLY WRITING
After a break from writing that was much needed, I’m headed back into the world of Bound by Stars and that is absolutely everything I can say about that at this point.
Maybe I’ll drop my drafting playlist in the near future for hints…
THE PIGEON CHRONICLES
Pigeon is delighted that there have been a lot of dry days this spring and has now taken to angrily shouting at the door to go outside. The problem with getting a cat with a lot of curiosity and energy the outlet of leash walks is that… she never wants to stay inside. But she’s become an expert copilot in her car seat and a very popular hiker.

COSMIC CURIOSITIES
Bound by Stars is first and foremost a romance. BUT, it’s set in space because I love the magical, high-stakes setting and all it’s wonders. I wanted to take any opportunity to use the sci-fi elements to amplify the romance. Here’s a fun fact that came up when I was researching the book:
Did you know one of Mars’ moons Phobos (fittingly named for the Greek god of fear and panic) is nicknamed “The Doomed Moon?” It orbits Mars so closely that is moves seven tenths of an inch toward the planet every year. The moon will either crash into the planet or break down and scatter into a ring around Mars, meeting it’s tragic and unavoidable fate… in about 50 million years.
Now, if you’ll excuse me—my coffee’s ready.
